The Professional Boxing Association (PBA) is the UK and Ireland Representative Office for The Bund Deutscher Faustkämpfer (BDF) who are based in Germany.

The BDF provides professional boxing licenses to Boxers, Promoters, Managers, Trainers, Judges, Referees and all other boxing officials to officiate and work on professional boxing events worldwide.

BDF sanctioned events are tightly regulated to ensure the absolute safety of participants.

Professional Boxers licensed by the BDF conform to the rules of the BDF and thus the Unified Rules of Professional Boxing.  The BDF works closely with the IBF, WBFed, WBA, WBO, IBO and EBC to ensure that boxers are able to progress through the ranks and to the Senior Championships available in professional boxing.

 

By becoming a BDF licence holder, members can have complete confidence that they are affiliated to a fully regulated and constituted Professional Governing Body. BDF licensed boxers and promoters will benefit from the full protection of our PBA personal injury insurance which covers permanent damage (including death) sustained in the ring during an event.
